Burlington Public School is proud to recognize several outstanding students for their recent accomplishments in FFA and at the Alfalfa County Fair. These students represented Burlington with hard work, talent, dedication, and a willingness to compete at a high level.
Hudson Schupach earned an outstanding honor by being selected to participate in the National FFA Choir. Being chosen for the National FFA Choir is a tremendous accomplishment and gives Hudson the opportunity to represent Burlington on a national stage alongside talented FFA members from across the country. We are extremely proud of Hudson and look forward to seeing him represent our school and community!
Burlington students also had an impressive showing in the horse events at the Alfalfa County Fair, bringing home numerous first-place finishes and other top honors.
Lainie Cambron had an exceptional competition, earning:
1st Place – Flag Race, Ages 8–12
2nd Place – Pole Bending, Ages 8–12
2nd Place – Barrel Race, Ages 8–12
3rd Place – GO-GO Race, Ages 8–12
5th Place – Trail, Ages 8–12
3rd Place – Reining, Ages 8–12
3rd Place – Western Horsemanship, Ages 8–12
2nd Place – Western Pleasure, Ages 8–12

Ramsey Green also turned in an outstanding performance, earning:
1st Place – Reining, Ages 8–12
1st Place – Western Horsemanship, Ages 8–12
1st Place – Western Pleasure, Ages 8–12
3rd Place – Trail, Ages 8–12
Claynee Green had a tremendous showing in the 5–7 age division, earning:
1st Place – Flag Race
1st Place – Barrel Race
1st Place – Western Pleasure
