Two students attended the Oklahoma State Science & Engineering Fair after qualifying at the Northwest District Science and Engineering Fair. The contest was held on March 8th and 9th on the OSU campus in Stillwater, Ok. Haven Stoner competed in the Senior Division of Biomedical and Health Sciences with her project titled, "Can You Hear Me Now?". Becky Carlson competed in the Senior Division of Engineering Technology: Statics and Dynamics with her project, "Wind Turbine Efficiency". Both students represented Burlington well. Haven was awarded third place in her division!
While at the competition, the students also enjoyed an extensive tour of multiple colleges of engineering on campus. Haven had the opportunity to run a mass spectrometer, which is a three-million-dollar machine!
